Join Our Team as a Floor Technician!
Are you an experienced floor care professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? At GSI America Inc., we take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services, and we're looking for a dedicated Floor Technician to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
Perform deep cleaning of carpets, tile floors, and grout in offices, hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Strip, wax, and seal floors, clean and seal grout, and shampoo carpets using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
Receive daily instructions from the manager regarding assigned tasks and specific details for each location.
Document the area before and after work with clear photos for comparison.
Complete tasks within the designated time frame.
Clock in and out upon arrival and departure from buildings; notify the manager in writing if there is no time clock available.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for each job.
Perform other assigned tasks based on the client’s required specifications at each location.
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in floor maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read product labels and interpret written instructions.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.
Ability to stand and move continuously for long periods.
Ability to balance, lift, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Constantly required to stand and walk.
Continuous use of hands and fingers to operate equipment.
Frequent bending, kneeling, and crawling.
Regularly required to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Frequent exposure to humidity, chemicals, and loud noise.
Operation of specialized equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, strippers, waxers, and carpet cleaners.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00PM-10:00PM
