Human Resources Manager – Mid-sized, privately owned, company located in Southwest Houston.
Seeking an experienced, reliable/dependable, detail oriented Human Resources Manager. The candidate must be bilingual (English & Spanish), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Responsible for benefits, insurance, payroll, etc.
Recruiting; Hiring and firing employees
Managing employee hours, attendance, and any disciplinary actions (as needed)
Writing/amending company policies and procedures
Ability to maintain and manage the company policies and procedures in place
Employee file upkeep
Work with the safety department to schedule training
Shop medical benefits for employees annually
Assist in organizing company parties and events
Assist with OSHA reporting
Short-term and long-term disability
Filing FMLA
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST be Bilingual (English & Spanish – written and verbal)
Must have a Minimum of 5 years of notable HR experience
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be a detail-oriented and highly organized individual
Must be reliable/dependable and seeking long-term employment within a company
Live in Southwest Houston – highly preferred

Must have previous experience with benefits and payroll
