I'm a female elementary school teacher in HISD and use a motorized wheelchair for mobility. I am in need of a female, late evening caregiver from 10pm -11pm.
Compensation is $25 for the hour long shift.
This is not a typical caregiving position as I do not have any high medical needs. The job consists of helping me with my nighttime routine: face washing, showering, changing into pajamas, and transferring into the restroom/bed using a patient lift as well as two light housekeeping tasks which consist of putting away laundry and loading the dishwasher.
I'm incredibly fun and easy to work with. This is an ideal position for someone looking for a quick, additional shift or for a student hoping to gain experience in patient care.
I'd prefer applicants that live or work already in/near the West U-Med Center area. Must love dogs! However, no experience is needed.
