We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a café or grocery store environment, possess strong time management skills, and be familiar with cash handling procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist customers with inquiries, providing information about products and services.
Stock shelves, ensuring that products are organized and displayed attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and store environment.
Promote upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Adhere to food safety standards while handling food items in the café area.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Utilize Aloha POS system for processing orders and managing inventory effectively.
Experience
Previous experience in a cashier or stocker role, preferably in a café or grocery store setting.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is desirable.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
Experience in quick service fast food restaurants is advantageous but not required.
