Job Summary
As a Food Trailer Operator and Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving high-quality food, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. If you love engaging with people, working in a dynamic setting, and having a passion for food service, we’d love to have you on board.
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain food safety and handling procedures at all times.
Food Trailer Operations & Service
- Operate and manage the daily functions of our food trailer.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Assist customers with menu selections and promote featured items.
Sales & Transactions
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately.
- Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed.
Cleanliness & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including food prep areas and dining surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Work alongside team members to keep operations running smoothly, especially during busy hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the culinary industry (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor toward customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A passion for food preparation and customer service is essential.
- Spanish Speaker (a plus).
Job Details & Pay
Payment: To be agreed upon according to experience + Tips
Shift Availability (Monday - Saturday):
- Breakfast Shift: 7 AM - 2 PM
- Lunch Shift: 1 PM - 7 PM
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Katy, TX.
- Must relocate to Katy, TX, before starting work (if applicable).
