Job Description:
Reset Rooftop Bar is looking for a professional and personable Door Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a door host, you’ll be responsible for greeting patrons, escorting guests to their table , managing guest lists, and ensuring a smooth and secure entry process. You’ll set the tone for the guest experience while maintaining a welcoming yet controlled atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage guest lists, VIP entries, and cover charges as needed
Maintain crowd control and ensure smooth entry flow
Monitor guest behavior and communicate with security if necessary
Assist with line management and provide accurate wait time estimates
Handle minor conflicts or escalate issues to management/security when needed
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ years old
Previous experience in nightlife, hospitality
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
