Job Title: Cook – Charcuterie & Small Bites (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Do you have a passion for crafting beautiful and delicious charcuterie boards and small bites? Join our team at Sonoma Wine & Cheese, where we specialize in creating the perfect culinary accompaniments to our curated wine selection. We’re looking for a skilled cook to prepare artfully arranged boards and seasonal small plates that elevate the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present charcuterie boards featuring a variety of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments
- Create small, shareable bites that pair well with our wine offerings
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently during service, maintaining pace while ensuring quality and presentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, with a focus on charcuterie and small plates preferred
- A creative eye for presentation and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
- Passion for pairing food with wine and an interest in learning more about wine pairings
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with strong communication and time management skills
