Travels to customer sites to conduct field testing and troubleshooting.
Assembles reports from data collected at site visits for customer distribution.
Manages equipment inventory, maintenance, calibration and shipment to sites.
Works with Field Services manager when needed for personnel resources when routine tests are to be conducted.
Creates template forms for consistent report formatting to customers
Works with Field Engineering and Service Centers to assist in troubleshooting and warranty cost reduction.
Keeps current on latest technologies and process for analysis and data acquisition. Supports procurement of up-to-date technology to ensure Sulzer is a leading provider of on-site testing.
Assists in scheduling of site visits for self and other Sulzer assets.
Works with engineering group to assess results from data acquisition.
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring to Sulzer:
Dotted line responsibility for field mechanics performing standard field testing
10 years experience in vibration analysis
Experience in pump testing and troubleshooting
Strong ability in MS Office applications
Great written and oral communication skills.
