Employee focused.JOB SUMMARYThe terminal operator is responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities related to the operations of the pipeline. This position will work rotating 12-hour shifts.Job Profile SummaryFollows instructions and utilizes standard practices and procedures to develop resolutions to problems of limited scope. Duties are typically repetitive or routine in nature and work is closely supervised. Assignments are provided with little reliance on self-direction. Contributions are usually limited to assignment-related activities and require little to no decision-making. Still acquiring an understanding of the technical aspects of the job skills.Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Gauges petroleum products transferred to and from tanks, trucks, rail cars, pipelines; includes barges or other vessels at a marine facility

Performs valve lineups, switch and tank changes as required to move petroleum products in and out of storage tanks.

Works diligently and follows all safety requirements to prevent product contamination, spills and avoid product loss.

Inputs product information into terminal automation programs, including ATLAS, TopTech and other systems applications as required

Performs tank inspections, make analyses of tank contents and prepare records as required, make routine daily inspection of facilities

Maintains location appearance, repair and replace equipment, maintain facility in exemplary compliance. May perform other general maintenance responsibilities as directed

Assists drivers and customers, performs vessel, truck and rail rack operations duties as assigned.

Responsible for other projects and assignments as directed

Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

1 - 2 years related work experience in related field preferred
