- Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations
- Ability to use scripting languages to leverage Tableau’s APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API).
- Knowledge of Tableau Server best practices for scalability, performance, content management and governance
- Process ad-hoc data and reporting requests/enhancements, including maintenance of existing reports & dashboards.
- Conduct performance tuning for Tableau and SQL views
- Understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts, familiarity with Amazon Redshift a plus
- Ability to work in the finance domain with Finance data (AR, AP, GL, P&L, BS)
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments
- Tool development: Develop tools that support access, integration, modeling and visualizing of data using SQL (stored procedures and ETL scripting), Python deployment, including packaging (pip) and web frameworks (Flask/Django), familiarity with Orchestration tools like Informatica, Pentaho, Airflow is an added plus.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to share status updates and raise issues/risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to research, identify and communicate the root cause of issues.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment; collaborate with supporting teams to achieve goals and ensure solutions are not siloed.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Highly motivated to accomplish desired goals and outcomes and requires little or no supervision or direction to achieve them.
- Proven ability to identify, focus on, and own high priority issues and tasks.

- BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in Tableau, including proficiency/expertise in Advanced Analytics with Tableau
- Agile methodology experience preferred.
