Sr. Administrative Assistant opportunity in the Center for Reconstructive Surgery. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of administrative/secretarial experience. The ability to multitask, work independently with minimum supervision, and have good organizational skills is a plus. Prefer candidates with experience supporting clinical administrative staff, using Microsoft Office, calendar management, and possess clear written and verbal communication skills.Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Hybrid onsite/remote)KEY FUNCTIONSProvide administrative support to Clinical Administrative Director and other staff as assigned. Performs complex administrative duties. Composes formal and informal correspondence. Creates and formats presentations, creation of meeting minutes and organization of files. Coordinates human resources activities for the department, including maintaining employee files. Responsible for departmental purchasing of office supplies, patient care supplies, etc. Develops and determines priorities and monitors status of special projects. Assists in strategic planning for department. Coordinates functions including maintenance of physical inventory and space planning. Arrange conferences according to department specifications, catering, and equipment. Schedule package pickup and assist with departmental package distribution. Assist other employees and vendors with directions and locating meetings, etc. Assist department with special projects as assigned. Assist with general reviewing/formatting various types of documents (letters of recommendation/support, patient letters on institutional letterhead). Create, edit, and format presentations. Compose formal and informal correspondence and documents. Be able to organize and disseminate information in a clearly understood manner. Use independent judgement and complex analysis to gather facts and determine appropriate solutions. Process confidential paperwork and maintain various records. Assist with timekeeping.EDUCATIONRequired: High school diploma or equivalent. Five years of administrative/secretarial experience.
