Description LOCATED IN HOUSTON, TXRobert Half Marketing & Creative is currently seeking a skilled AV (Audio/Visual) Technician to become an integral part of our event conference team. The ideal candidate will have TOP NOTCH problem-solving abilities, comprehensive knowledge of AV equipment and internet connections, and a keen eye for detail. As our AV Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment for various events.Responsibilities:
Install, maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment for various events.
Operate and manage AV equipment during events to ensure optimal sound and visual quality.
Coordinate with event planners to understand their AV needs and expectations.
Perform regular maintenance and equipment checks to ensure everything is in good working order.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
Manage inventory of AV equipment and order new supplies as needed.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
In-depth understanding of audio and visual technology and equipment, including lighting and internet connectivity.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, often half or full day projects.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
