Responsibilities include, leading a team of 15-20 employees, inventory management, forecasting & staff planning, meeting financial recovery targets ($30MM-$100MM in annual recoveries), meeting quality targets, project management to execute on operational blue chips and achieving employee engagement targets.Primary Responsibilities:Staffing: 33%
Handle escalations from members, attorney’s, clients, etc.
Ensure inbound & outbound call activities are handled timely and appropriately
Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team
May oversee work activities of other leaders and/or front line staff
Manages interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and evaluations of staff
Ensure team is appropriately staffed and ramped to meet TAT
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments through Bravos
Ensure supervisors and staff are held accountable to quality and production metrics
Ensure staff is achieving goals and metrics as assigned
Provide team direction and ensure workloads are being managed effectively
Act as a resource to the staff regarding questions or issues as they arise

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of subrogation, health insurance, collections and/or Property and Casualty (P&C) experience
1+ years of subrogation experience
Intermediate proficiency of MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint

Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and work independently
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to assess and identify needs proactively

Proven open to change and new information: ability to adapt behavior and work methods to changing organization and integrate best practices into the subrogation recovery process

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
