Python data engineer, contract

We have been retained by our client in Houston, Texas to deliver a Python data engineer on a regular full-time, direct-hire basis. This team is experiencing growth and this big data practice is evolving/improving quickly. Low turnover at this company. Nice culture. This compensation package is one of the top 10% in the USA.We seek a data engineer to create python data frameworks and use Test Driven Development and perform API development along the way.The candidates we seek will have3+ years of focused work experience programming data frameworks with Pythonand will have experience with some of these: Parquet, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, data lakes Python Pandas, Numpy, Pytest, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, Keras, Matplotlib, SpaCy, NLTK, Theano, Pytorch, Caffe, Caffe2 Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Distributed File Systems, and Massively Parallel Processing (MPP), MongoDB, HIVE, HDFS, Cosmos, Azure Data Lake PySpark, Apache Spark big data analytics, machine learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) Oil & Gas industriesProvide analytical and technical work.
