Project Manager with Hospitality Experience

Description We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant based in Houston, Texas. This role is vital in our organization as it involves organizing and ensuring the efficiency of our technical projects, primarily focusing on Hotels New Builds' projects. The role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid remote or fully remote setting depending on the candidate's geographical location. Responsibilities: Develop project plans, goals, and budgets and identify necessary resources. Prepare requests for proposals and conduct meetings to facilitate the selection of project services and products. Develop schedules and methods for measuring results. Assemble and coordinate project team members and assign individual responsibilities. Manage all phases of the project to ensure timely completion. Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications. Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork. Collaborate with the technical team to brainstorm new processes for technical projects. Ensure projects are delivered within budget. Identify project risks in a timely manner and communicate to all parties. Ensure project milestone deliverables statuses are communicated to all parties. Conform to ISO 27001:2013 requirements by complying with the Information Security Policy and procedures to meet ISMS objectives. Understand the implications of not conforming with ISMS requirements. Report any information security issues or incidents or situations that present potential security risks. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience in IT project management Demonstrated expertise in vendor management Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficient in project management software and tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills PMP or similar certification is preferred Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software development life cycle Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
