Reviews all financial/accounting operations. Analyzes variances and prepares status reports, provides forecasts and projections. Manages the completion of the monthly STAT samples report for SHP. Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost reduction and expense control. Manages the account and procard reconciliation process for School of Health Professions accounts; works within institutional and divisional deadlines. Ensures compliance with institutional policies. Responsible for generating and creating required internal and external reports. Other duties as assigned.Administrative operations - 30%Provide direct supervision, manage, and evaluate administrative support staff in conjunction with the SHP Director, Education and Training. Coordinate and manage personnel issues and actions, policy and procedure issues and faculty requests regarding administrative support. Plan and coordinate assignments of tasks to meet deadlines and anticipated departmental needs. Manage functional activities for office to include asset inventory, records management, faculty and staff travel, office work environment, procurement activities, and other business services. Work closely with leadership to implement standardized processes that support efficiency and cross coverage. Orient and train new administrative staff and evaluate within institutional policy.Provide the Director, Education and Training with recommendations regarding promotions, demotions, terminations, merits, etc. for the administrative support staff.Assist to process adjunct faculty and contract appointments, clinical affiliate contracts, education services agreements, and coordinate the vetting process. Manage lecture room reservations for all courses in SHP. Manage locker assignments for all new incoming SHP students.Manages administrative support and assists to manage school initiatives and events. Oversees new employee orientation and office set up. Performs interview for administrative support positions and makes hiring recommendations to the SHP Director, Education and Training. Assist with financial management and identifies opportunities for cost reduction and expense control.SHP office operations - 30%Assists in managing the daily operations needs of SHP with direction from the Director, Education and Training. Interfaces with IT to resolve computer hardware and software problems. Manages the school's physical resources, including space planning, inventory control and property maintenance. Plans physical resource needs and manages physical relocations and renovations. Assists Director with coordinating the SHP recruitment, appointment/ credentialing, promotion, and tenure actions for faculty appointments.Serves as SHP property manager, maintenance of the SHP Business Continuity Plan.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospital/Healthcare Administration or related field.ExperienceRequired: Four years of experience in a professional/administrative capacity, to include two years experience in a supervisory capacity in any field. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
