Title:Logistics ManagerKBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa. KBR’s Project Management Team is responsible for the overall management of the Owner’s EPC Contractor’s contract.KBR is seeking a Logistics Manager to be the Project Management Company (PMC) representative. This role will be assigned to China based team for a short period of time to oversee the logistics plans by EPC Contractor then once the construction activities start in Angola, the Logistics Manager will be assigned to PMC Angola based team.This position will first mobilize to China and then to AngolaThe Logistic Manager under minimal supervision with general autonomy will ensure the effective performance of all activities associated with logistics work for an EPC project. This role will effectively plan, organize, create contracts, manage the logistics processes, and work methods.Responsibilities:

Manage personnel engaged in the coordination and execution of logistics services

Interface with internal and external customers to ensure customer expectations are being achieved

Responsible for the performance of the project logistics activities

Prepare, execute and be responsible for the project logistics budget

Maintain relationships and communication with transportation providers Manages subordinate personnel in the proper understanding and usage of discipline specific systems, policies, and procedures

Promote Zero Harm culture with vendors, clients, and colleagues

This role requires a background checkEducation, Experience, & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Administration, logistics, supply chain, business, or related field

And 10 + years of experience in logistics activities for EPC projects including the management of containers and breakbulk ocean freight, domestic transportation, heavy haul, customs clearance, and the commercial management of a logistics budget

In lieu of formal education 18 + years of experience in logistics activities for EPC projects

Management of logistics activities of at least one large scale EPC project, from start to finish

Performed FEED (or similar) activities for large scale EPC projects
