AECOM is actively seeking a talented Lead Pipeline CAD - Mapping Designer for immediate employment in our Houston, Texas office. Our teams strengths are diversity of relevance of clients from federal, municipal, utilities, private, developers, and technology developers working on leading edge projects. Uses CADD and 3rd Party Extensions (Blue Sky Skyline and Plex Earth) with engineering input and standards to design pipelines and plan and profile drawingsCommunicate project specific pipeline design issues with engineering teamTake direction from engineering team and project managers on required design changesImports Survey data and surfaces to build design basefilesTracks project design changes  Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the manager.Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.Leads less experienced drafters, showing them how to complete more complex tasks and showing them how the design changes impact individual drawings that need updatingAssists in drawing production as needed to meet project deadlines.
