Land Application Analyst

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Land Application Analyst for an oil and gas company in Downtown Houston, Tx. This is a direct hire salaried position, sitting onsite up to 3 days per week. This role will act as the subject matter expert for the land application portfolio. Will support applications through issue resolution and provide guidance to users using the helpdesk software to ensure issue cause and resolution are fully documented. Provide testing and coordination of scheduled application maintenance, releases, and major version upgrades following the IT change management policy and process. Collaborate with business users to propose and implement ideas to simplify daily activities by leveraging new or existing technical solutions. Gather and document requirements from business users via interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis. Conduct training and develop training content and job aids for employees and staff augmentation team members. Assist in providing reports as necessary to assist business users in answering specific questions. Plan, organize and deliver special IT projects aimed at improving the company's business activities.
