IT Vessel Support

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail oriented IT Vessel Support individual to join our team located in Houston, Texas this role, you will be a pivotal part of our Information Technology team, focusing on customer engagement, addressing help desk inquiries, and providing technical expertise to our ship’s crews. You will also be tasked with supporting ship IT systems and maintaining a high level of interaction with clients.Responsibilities: Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows devices to ensure smooth operations. Assist with the administration of Office 365 (Microsoft Desktop Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Provide assistance and support for maritime technology systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Ensure the effective operation and support of Apple desktops and conference room AV. Monitor and maintain backups of important data and systems, ensuring their availability and integrity. Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall function of the IT team. Travel to various locations to provide on-site technical expertise and service to our ship’s crews.Requirements Proficiency in O 365 is required for this role. Familiarity with Apple iOS is a necessary skill. Knowledge of the Maritime industry is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server is essential.
