Job DescriptionA client in the greater Houston area has 1 long-term contract opportunity for an entry-level Document Control Specialist. The Document Controller performs the daily processing (creation, release, transmittal, revision) of engineering and/or supplier documentation to and from third parties in compliance with Department Work Instructions and contractual agreements. A Document Controller will be mentored by another team member (either a Senior or Lead Document Controller and the Document Control Manager). The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for creating document placeholders within the document management systems per standard numbering procedure, while performing quality checks to documentation and attributes against contractual client requirements, numbering and revision guidelines, internal quality standards, and the Master Document Register.
