Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Houston, Texas. The role will be within the telecom provider industry, providing support for end users and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.Responsibilities: Responding to user inquiries about software and hardware issues. Resetting passwords and maintaining active directory access. Troubleshooting VPN and network connectivity issues. Conducting PC buildouts and managing the deployment of standard images via USB. Providing support for 1500 end users. Using and maintaining knowledge of key skills such as Active Directory, PC Desktop - Workstation, PC Hardware, PC Skills, MS Windows, MS Office 365, Microsoft Office 365, VPN - Virtual Private Network, and Network Infrastructure. Assisting with the operation of Office 365. Managing and resolving issues related to the network infrastructure. Maintaining a high level of customer service and technical knowledge. Collaborating with other IT team members to resolve more complex issues. Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in Active Directory is required. Experience with PC Desktop - Workstation is essential. Good knowledge of PC Hardware is necessary. Strong PC Skills is a must. Proficiency in MS Windows is required. Experience in MS Office 365 and Microsoft Office 365 is necessary. Knowledge of VPN - Virtual Private Network is essential. Familiarity with Network Infrastructure is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical staff. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to continuously update knowledge and skills in line with technological advancements.
