This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automation solutions for decom (decommissioning) processes and providing architectural guidance for one automation platform to streamline workflows across various systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation tools, architecture design, and system decommissioning processes, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.Decom Automation:Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for decom (decommissioning) of legacy systems, applications, and infrastructure.Identify opportunities to automate manual decommissioning tasks and workflows to reduce downtime and human error.Ensure the integrity and security of data and applications during the decom process, following best practices.Work closely with system administrators and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of decom automation with existing systems.Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automated decom processes, ensuring they meet business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).One Automation Architecture:Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and robust One Automation platform that integrates multiple automation tools and systems across the organization.Architect the automation framework to support enterprise-level systems, ensuring alignment with business processes and IT goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the architecture of automation solutions and ensure they are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and security.Implement and maintain automation pipelines, ensuring that they meet performance and reliability standards.Provide technical leadership in the selection and integration of automation tools and frameworks to support a unified automation architecture.Process Automation Strategy:Develop and execute an automation strategy to standardize processes across the organization, ensuring that automation efforts are aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business operations, and project teams to define and prioritize automation initiatives.Assist in defining best practices for automation, providing guidance on automation workflows and techniques to ensure consistency and reliability.Continuously assess the performance of existing automation systems, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and decommissioning processes, incorporating best practices into the team's approach.Drive the culture of continuous improvement within the team and organization, suggesting new ways to enhance automation and operational efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in automation architecture, with a focus on decommissioning processes and infrastructure management.Hands-on experience with One Automation platform, or similar enterprise-level automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins).Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how automation integrates within cloud-native applications and infrastructure.Proficient in scripting and programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript) to automate tasks and workflows.Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline integration in automation frameworks.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking.Experience with decommissioning legacy systems and handling the transition to modern infrastructure solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation issues.Solid understanding of IT security practices and their application to automation processes, particularly in decom scenarios.Experience working with monitoring and logging tools to track automation performance and troubleshoot errors (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud automation tools and frameworks (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Automation).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with network automation and configuration management tools.Relevant certifications in automation platforms (e.g., Certified Automation Professional (CAP), UiPath Certified RPA Developer).Experience in agile methodologies and project management techniques to handle automation initiatives.Basic Qualifications:
