This is a telecommute position, however, you will be required to come into the office periodically.If you live near Houston, TX , you’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Provide Administrative Support to the Service Coordinators for two markets

Submit authorization request to HCBS, work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers

Conduct member research and PCP calls for unable to reach members

Complete daily BCRT reports

Complete daily member mailout requests

Complete bi-weekly CP FOS Audits to ensure TIA accuracies

Complete monthly new enrollee and caseload reports

Request language translations for documents

Notify Service Coordinators of member admits and discharges from and to the hospital and / or nursing facility

Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review

High School Diploma/ GED (or higher)

1+ years of customer service experience

1+ years of clerical / administrative experience

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management)

Access to high-speed internet at residence

Commutable distance to Houston, TX

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years medical background in a hospital, physician’s office or medical clinic

Medicare and / or Medicaid experience

Bilingual in English & Spanish

Healthcare or Insurance Benefits experience

Soft Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills - oral and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task, this includes the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective

Ability to prioritize and balance multiple demands and competing deadlines
