Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our client's team in the Houston Greenway Plaza area. As a Bookkeeper, you will be working in the legal industry, processing full cycle accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, assisting with distribution payments and calculations, and generating reports. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is 100% onsite.Responsibilities: Process full cycle accounts payable and receivable Perform bank reconciliations Assist with distribution payments and calculations Generate financial reports Research and resolve financial issues Maintain accurate customer credit records Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks Perform data entry tasks Execute account reconciliation tasks Conduct month end close activities.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field Proficiency in account reconciliation and data entry Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Skilled in performing bank reconciliations Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience in performing month-end close tasks Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
