Blaster/Painter - Houston, TX

POSITION TITLE: Blaster/PainterREPORTS TO: Paint Department Team Lead1st SHIFT - 6am to 4:30pm2ndSHIFT -  4:30pm to 3:00amMonday - Friday Some Saturdays may be required - 12:00pm to 6:00pm PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY :· Follow all KC Safety Directives & Guidelines.· Sand Blast and Painting Operations.· Apply prepared primers and paints to components.· This paints to proper consistency and viscosity for spraying or brushing application.· Adjust equipment to obtain the finished requirements.· Operate paint booth, painting, and blasting equipment.· Maintain spraying equipment and booths in working conditions.· Operate crane and forklifts.· Maintain inventory of paint and supplies.· Maintain clean and orderly work area including equipment and performs all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established procedures.· Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
