Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate in the litigation industry, based in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves handling personal injury cases with a high case load volume. The Associate will be licensed in the state of Texas and will be dealing with some tort cases as well.Responsibilities include: Handling a high volume of personal injury cases, ensuring all cases are managed effectively and efficiently. Engaging in civil litigation processes, adhering to all legal standards and protocols. Utilizing trial experience to represent clients effectively in court. Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents related to personal injury cases. Engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing legal advice accordingly. Participating in settlement negotiations and advocating for the best interests of clients. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of personal injury laws and regulations in Texas. Developing strategies for handling tort cases. Collaborating with legal staff to ensure all cases are handled in a timely manner. Managing client relationships, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Hold a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience Possess experience in Civil Litigation Have Trial Experience Demonstrated experience working with Personal Injury Plaintiffs Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Must hold a professional degree in a relevant field Adherence to professional ethics and standards of the legal profession.
