Agile Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Agile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have an impressive understanding of SQL and experience with Azure Devops. The role involves analyzing business practices and goals and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity using innovative technologies.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives.

Participate in agile ceremonies while also acting as the “owner” of backlog items.

Assist product owners and teams in story writing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization and in planning iterations and releases.

Leveraging SQL, generate complex queries and reports, analyze large datasets to gain insights into trends, anomalies, and opportunities.

Work in Azure DevOps to configure and maintain pipelines, manage project work items and use Visual Studio tools.

Develop both technical and user-friendly documentation to represent business requirements for project implementation.

Help design, document and maintain system processes.

Act as a liaison between product owners, developers, management and users to ensure common understanding of requirements and ensure they are met.

Identify opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.

Requirements

Solid experience in a Business Analyst role in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Strong SQL skills including experience writing complex SQL queries.

Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure DevOps.

Good knowledge of Agile principles and the ability to implement them into the business.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to simplify complex issues to stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Familiarity with git and version control strategies.

Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
