Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Manufacturing industry, located on the Northside of Houston. This role involves heavy reconciliation and month end close duties. The hours are full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm. Responsibilities: Monitor incoming payments and allocate them to the correct customer accounts. Manage email correspondence with customers and internally within the company. Regularly reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger to ensure accuracy. Analyze receivable activity and post transactions to the general ledger accounting system. Perform monthly general ledger balance sheet reconciliations. Manage general ledger reconciliations for past due items and ensure timely resolution. Prepare monthly management reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounts receivable experience required. Must have heavy reconciliation and month end close experience. Experience in billing, cash application, and collections is required. Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary for the role.
