Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role is within the financial services industry and is based in a detail oriented office setting. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will manage all aspects of billing, collections, and account reconciliations. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, process payments promptly, and ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of billing and collections to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Issue invoices and process payments in a timely manner. Handle queries and disputes related to payments and balances. Maintain frequent communication with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction. Assure compliance with all relevant financial laws and guidelines. Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze data. Leverage accounting functions to ensure financial integrity. Utilize NetSuite and Salesforce to manage customer accounts and data. Contribute to the team's objectives of maintaining accurate accounts receivable records and efficient check processing. Manage B2B collections and commercial and consumer collections to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary. Must have experience in Accounts Receivable (AR). Familiarity with Billing Functions is essential. Experience with Check Processing is required. Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus. Must have experience in B2B collections. Experience in Collections - Commercial is needed. Familiarity with Collections - Consumer is a must.
