Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob DescriptionAs an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing a minimum of 40-45 invoices per day and managing the AP email inbox, including researching any discrepancies. Your role will involve full cycle accounts payable processes, assisting the supervisor with monthly accrivals, and submitting assigned vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy. You will also need to understand the differences between down-payments and prepaids. You will be required to process high-volume vendor invoices and payments promptly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adjust/pay appropriate sales tax when vouchering invoices. As part of your role, you will be required to complete special projects, implement changes as needed, identify trends, initiate performance improvement, and respond to audit requests in a timely manner. You will review and respond to vendor statements and emails, ensure AP policies are adhered to, prepare and process weekly vendor payments, and may require to print checks/mailings. You will also assist with establishing new vendors in accordance with company policy, respond to the business, validate vendor records, assist with processing remote deposits, and ensure accuracy and consistency in coding.Hard Skills
