Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of vendor account information, handling vendor correspondence, and reconciling vendor invoices. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, paving the way for long-term growth and career development within our organization.Responsibilities: Confirming the accuracy of vendor account information Reviewing, reconciling, and paying vendor invoices in a timely manner Handling vendor correspondence through phone and email Investigating and resolving any issues associated with processing invoices Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos Performing customer billing and working closely with the credit team Conducting end-of-month reconciliations of general ledgers Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Dynamics Ax. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role. Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP). Demonstrated experience in conducting Check Runs. Proficiency in Coding Invoices is required. Strong Data Entry skills. Proven experience in Invoice Processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Experience in using Dynamics Ax is essential.
