Description A client of ours is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The Accounting Specialist will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close procedures. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position will be in-office from Monday through Friday from 8-5. Please apply today for immediate consideration! Provide administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. Scan sales documents, manufacturing work orders, and vendor invoices to company server. Process payments to vendors and monitor/post payments received from customers. Carry out billing and collection activities according to specific deadlines. Input inventory data and reconcile to physical count when required. Balance A/R and A/P open items and monitor customer/vendor aging schedules. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policies. Assist in preparation of purchase orders, expedite delivery and record receipts. Tactfully interact with customers to collect amounts outstanding. Investigate and help resolve customer queries. Assist in preparation of customer quotes, sales orders, and shipping documentation. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant company personnel. Always present a professional image to clients and vendors. Follow all relevant company policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus

Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry or familiarity with oil and gas operations is a plus.
