We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced machinist skilled in operating a Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL), Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM), and manual lathe. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tight tolerances, interpretation of technical specifications, and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities:
Operate and program VTL, HBM, and manual lathe machines to manufacture precision metal components.
Interpret technical blueprints, process sheets, and manufacturing instructions.
Set up, mount, and align parts according to project requirements.
Measure and verify part dimensions using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
Make minor adjustments to tools and machines to ensure product quality.
Follow industrial safety protocols and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
Work with minimal supervision while meeting established quality and production time standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating VTL, HBM, and manual lathes.
Technical knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, special alloys, and ferrous metals.
Experience machining large and complex-shaped parts.
Ability to perform quality inspections and document results.
Proficient in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) drawings.
Skilled at working with tight tolerances.
Preferably experienced in industrial environments such as oil & gas, power generation, or heavy manufacturing.
Punctual, responsible, and proactive attitude.
