A commercial building in the downtown Houston area located near Pierce Elevated is
looking for an experienced full-time building Operations and Maintenance Engineer for
their 8 AM-5 PM. shift, Monday through Friday. Must provide valid identification and
be able to pass a background check. The starting salary will be based on experience.
Requirements:
Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical,
electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems including pumps, chillers, boilers, air
compressors and air handling units.
Must be familiar with plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical, also be
knowledgeable of the day-to-day operations of a commercial property.
Perform general repairs, maintenance, and replacement of building components
including, building fixtures and appliances
Knowledge of water treatment chemicals
Maintain operation logs and files
Apply basic knowledge and skills in HVAC distribution and controls to
make adjustments and corrective actions to resolve work orders.
