Job Title: Entry-Level Drafter
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter to support our design and fabrication teams. This position is ideal for someone eager to build their drafting skills and grow within a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll assist in producing precise technical drawings and layouts that support a variety of architectural and metalwork projects.
Please note - This is an in office position. We are open to FT, PT and Internships. Remote opportunities are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
Create technical drawings and layout plans using AutoCAD based on direction from project managers and engineers.
Assist in developing shop drawings, fabrication details, and submittals for production.
Update and revise drawings based on internal reviews and project feedback.
Maintain accurate project records and drawing files for easy retrieval and reference.
Ensure drafting work complies with company standards, client specifications, and industry guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
Self Starter
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a collaborative setting.
Preferred but Not Required:
Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with construction or metal fabrication drawings.
Internship or previous hands-on drafting experience a plus.
