Wanderstay Houston Hostel offers a unique hospitality experience, connecting travelers with an authentic Houston vibe. Responsibilities Include:
Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude during check-in and check-out
Maintaining a positive and hospitable environment
Collaborating with other staff members and being willing to learn
Providing professional behavior in a working environment
Attending to guests’ needs to ensure a safe and comfortable stay
Managing our reservation system efficiently
Planning activities around the Houston area for our guests
Responding to customer emails and phone calls in a professional manner (excellent written and verbal communication required)
Skills/Qualifications:
Customer service experience preferred
Enjoy working with the public
Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Hostel or hotel experience preferred (we do train!)
Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
