Are you ready to be a key player in a fast-growing, women owned, design-build lighting and electrical firm? We opened late 2023 and are now seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager / Full-time Rockstar to join our team. We need someone who excels in hands-on bookkeeping, customer service, scheduling, and any task that comes their way to help us continue to grow. The right candidate will find their last job with us as we are not going anywhere and you will be rewarded and grow personally and professionally as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank account reconciliations using QuickBooks.

Financial Oversight: Reconcile monthly statements, daily invoices, sales taxes, and all notes and credit cards. Verify employee expense reports and handle fixed asset tracking.

Operational Support: Assist the owners with material ordering, job site deliveries, phone answering, and crew scheduling

Problem-Solving: Resolve payment discrepancies with suppliers, contractors, or clients and handle collections.

Cross-Functional Tasks: Support HR and office administration duties such as setting up new vendors and customers and managing employee loans. Complete yearly audits.

Collaboration: Work closely with our outside accountant on a monthly basis and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.

Requirements:

Experience: 5 years minimum of bookkeeping experience. QuickBooks Online Experience Required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, MS Excel, professional phone etiquette, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Attributes: Highly organized, laser focus on attention to detail, able to tolerate interruptions, prioritize tasks effectively, and eager to grow with the company.

Transportation: Be able to commute to the company offices Monday - Friday as this is an in person job and not remote or hybrid. Start times are flexible for the right candidate.
