To manage, coordinate, and directly support the administrative and business management, and/or staff activities within a Process/Department.

Ability to think & act on own initiative in providing process management of financial, human resource, and administrative support functions.

Plays a key role in web development for ASGII. This role is responsible for maintaining, improving, assisting with, advising on, overseeing, measuring and guiding all manner of web-related endeavors.

Job Duties:

Manage all aspects of home pages/web sites aimed at internal and external audiences, including brand-consistent design, user-friendly function, and mobile adaptations where appropriate.

Develop and maintain new web and/or mobile applications to support communication aspects related to UTMB strategic priorities.

Learn and evaluate new technologies related to web function and electronic communication; recommend appropriate use(s).

Types routine, complex, and/or confidential documents utilizing a word processor, or specialized computer software package (e.g., presentations, flow charts, etc.)

Maintains and provides support using various software packages, including PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Canva.

Designs and produces complex electronic files for presentations (i.e. slide shows, and multi-media presentations).

Designs, develops and produces collateral material to support marketing initiatives.

Designs and manages social media campaigns and institutional social media accounts as needed.

Customer Service

Interacts with internal customers toward effective problem resolution.

Ability to think independently and make decisions as necessary.

Assists in facilitating lab and office space relocations.

Miscellaneous

Initiates improvements in work process/environment.

Prioritizes daily work assignments.

Contributes ideas and suggestions for improvements to the process.

Performs related duties as required.
