Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description We are offering a contract for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant position in Galveston, Texas. The role involves supporting HR processes by managing records and information and providing clerical assistance to the HR department. Responsibilities: Oversee the organization and maintenance of HR records and information Conduct orientation sessions to welcome new team members Assist in the implementation of HR procedures in line with company policies Provide administrative support to the HR team Perform additional duties as assigned Facilitate background checks for potential employees Assist in auditing to maintain HR compliance Utilize HRMS, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian systems for HR processes Manage benefit functions as part of HR responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service in response to employee inquiries Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a must Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential Experience in using Ceridian is needed Mastery in HRMS is crucial Familiarity with About Time software is beneficial Strong auditing skills are required Experience in conducting background checks is necessary Knowledge in handling benefit functions is essential Excellent customer service skills are a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
