Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or

Associate degree preferred

1-year medical imaging experience required

1 year MRI experience preferred

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) upon hire required

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT within 12 months required

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) upon hire required

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) upon hire required

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) upon hire required

ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire required

ARMRIT - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT within 12 months required

NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board CNMT upon hire required and

CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT(R), (CT), (N) or CNMT upon hire

What You Will Do

Adjusts ultrasound parameters appropriately for quality images.

Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to and during exam

Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, suggest differential diagnosis.

Maintains ARDMS, CME credits and CPR yearly or when applicable (ARRT and CMRT if applicable).

Works in tandem with staff to ensure laser images are placed on CD from modality or , Paccar printed , or Ambra as needed.
