OverviewTHE MODERN HOME OF AMERICAN GOLFLocated 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green. Job DescriptionOmni PGA Frisco Resortis seeking aFood and Beverage Controllerto join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment. This role will be instrumental in setting up finance and accounting systems and structure for our resort. Working closely with the Controller and Assistant Director of Finance, we expect that our chosen individual will safeguard the company's investment in Food and Beverage inventory and provide management with accurate and timely operational cost figures. Responsibilities

Schedule, organize and direct all month-end inventories in conjunction with the appropriate department managers.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cost reports to include the investigation and explanation of material variances.

Ensure requisition and distribution system are enforced through proper authorization of requisitions.

Process and post all retail transfers.

Process and post all F&B transfers and assist with invoice postings in Birch Street.

Work with F&B team to analyze F&B menu item costs, establish menu pricing and recommend menu modifications for new and current items.

Ensure F&B and Retail POS system item prices are up to date and accurately programmed.

Reconcile all inventory accounts on a monthly basis by designated due dates.

Responsible for auditing invoices, credit memos due and product security on a monthly basis to ensure accurate cost of sales percentages.

Indirectly supervise and train Purchasing and Retail personnel on inventory and AP processes.

Prepare cash requirements as requested by management.

Maintain a current status on all open purchase orders.

Review purchase orders for accuracy.

Investigate discrepancies on past due invoices.

Investigate and resolve all outstanding credits.

Maintain current reconciliation of vendor statements.

Prepare month end payable accruals as required.

Oversee month end procedures to produce appropriate reports and ensure accounts payable system remains in balance.

Review monthly preliminary P&L with Controller and Department leaders.

Projects as assigned by Director of Finance and Director of Purchasing.

Qualifications

Previous hotel accounting experience and at least 2 years.

Strong computer and phone skills preferred.

Ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
