Staff Accountant

Description We are offering a temporary to permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Financial Services industry located in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves the execution of various accounting tasks, including account reconciliations, cash accounting, and general ledger management. This position will start immediately, so apply today!Responsibilities: Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Conduct cash accounting operations, including the recording of transactions, checking balances, and resolving any discrepancies. Oversee general ledger tasks, such as data entry, balancing, and generation of monthly statements. Utilize financial statement preparation skills to compile and analyze data for financial reports. Leverage knowledge of Excel Formulas for financial calculations and projections. Record products, prepare financial statements, and input into ledger. Monitor insurance and investment accounting, with training provided. Manage premium tax, deposits, and accruals operations. Oversee depreciation calculations and entries. Spend a portion of the working month dealing with investments.Requirements Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Experience in managing General Ledger Ability to process Journal Entries Familiarity with Month End Close processes Expertise in Financial Statement Preparation Proficiency in using Excel Formulas Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
