Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in FORT WORTH, Texas, United States. The primary function of this role is to provide accounting support in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work cross-functionally with multiple companies, use analytical skills to improve processes independently and collectively, and maintain financial procedures to confirm financial compliance through the preparation of the company's reports and statements.Responsibilities: Assist with the monthly closing of all entities Reconcile bank accounts monthly and monitor for any discrepancies Record and reconcile credit card accounts Maintain bank note schedules and reconciliations Deposit Accounts Receivable and record them in the ERP Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices Set up new jobs and ensure estimates are set up in the ERP for job costing Prepare Pre-lien filing for construction projects and track supplier lien waivers to ensure timely receipt Prepare/gather materials related to construction and cost accounting matters for external auditors Provide assistance to the external auditors as needed Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately Experience in Month End Close procedures Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards.For additional information and consideration please get in touch with Jessica Walker at 682-312-1009 or via email at [email protected] You can also connect and message me on LinkedIn.
