The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is searching for dedicated hospitality professionals with guest service mentality to join our extraordinary team! Job DescriptionThis is a sales focused position, with a focus on mid market groups of 76-150 room nights on peak requiring 100% of their time to be spent on direct sales related duties.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Targets group accounts in the assigned geographic and or vertical market and/or territory with an emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (Regional Sales Offices, Rep. Firms, etc) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complimentary and not duplicative Responds to incoming group leads of 76-150 rooms on peak night within a 24 hour period Proactively identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve personal and resort revenue goals Closes the best opportunities for the Resort based on the market conditions and hotel needs Understands the overall market in which they sell (i.e.: competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.) Effectively manage and develop relationships with key internal and external customers, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, site inspections, etc. Effectively uses sales resources and administrative/staff support Generates contracts and creative proposals to meet customer needs Provides accurate, complete, and effective turnover to conference services Can develop clear and effective market plans and action steps for their respective territory and or vertical market (s) Possesses effective communication skills Presents ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well organized manner Continues communications with group contacts before, during and after all meetings to encourage rebook of business or to solicit other business within account. Entertains group contacts while on property and in the marketplace. Sales managers may be required to entertain outside of normal office hours Represent Omni Fort Worth Hotel at trade shows and all functions which are related to the sales and marketing efforts of the Hotel Travel to assigned geographic market, assigned territory or event location based on direction of yearly strategic plan and subsequent travel schedule Prepares marketplace management plan once per year and follows through on plan throughout the year providing quarterly up-dates to the DOS. Participates in one on one meetings bi-weekly with the DOS: Discuss their production from their market/territory, what companies are booking and why, what areas or companies are on the hit list for the next 30 – 60 days for prospecting and site inspections and why. The SM must have an in-depth knowledge and total grasp on their market and be able to share that knowledge with DOS to fine tune the Strategic plan that was outlined at the beginning of the year and to tweak it monthly to maximize room night and revenue production from the prospective sales managers territory and or market. Responsible for accurate documentation of all developments in the marketplace in Salesforce FDC Attend all meetings related to the group sales department Maintain the highest ethical standards while representing Omni Hotels & Resorts Achieve room night and revenue sales goals presented for each quarter on a consistent basis.Qualifications

Bachelors Degree preferred and/or three-five years experience in a luxury resort environment

Preferred Sales Management Experience

Must be able to move/lift up to 10 pounds

Must be able to work various shifts and must be available holidays and weekends

Work effectively with administrative task

Understand the creation Sales Related Spreadsheets/excel documents
