Worth, TX 76104Work hours: Full-time, night shift, 36 hours weeklyDepartment highlights:CT4 is a 25-bed cardiac telemetry surgical unit, staffing includes 4:1 nurse ratio, 2 pcts, and a free charge nurse. The interdisciplinary team works closely together to improve patient outcomes. THFW recently received the first Comprehensive Cardiac Designation in Texas, awarded by The Joint Commission. CT4 continues to maintain excellent patient satisfaction scores due to a commitment to teamwork and excellent care delivery. We are the first telemetry unit in the State of Texas to be awarded the Beacon.Texas Health Ft. Nursing Diploma required or
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA (regulations regarding foreign education equivalency) required
Experience:
One (1) year experience as a RN required or
Completion of a RN Residency program required
Licenses and Certifications:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required and
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (expiration date greater than three (3) months preferred) within ninety (90) days of hire required and
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (maintained annually) within ninety (90) days of hire required
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will:
Practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
