Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - PRN Night ShiftFast-paced Emergency Department is looking for top-skilled nurses.Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Night shift; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirementED highlights:

Patients withcritical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 40 Emergency Rooms

Here’s What You Need

Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

Current Registered Nurse required Upon Hire

BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

ACLS – within 90 days of hire

CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire

1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse required

ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 6 months required

TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 6 months required

PALS - within 90 days of hire

2-3 year ER experience preferred

What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patient

Plans the care of the patient

Intervenes as appropriate

Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
