Red Hat/ Windows Administrator Location: Fort Worth, TXDuration: Long-term and on-going contract role - 2-3 yearsDirect Client / Rate: DOEMust work onsite 50% - Locals preferred. Red Hat/ Windows Administrator This position is for a System Administrator. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, problem solver, and have experience leading Server Design, Operating Systems Software Deployment, Server Management, Clustered Systems, Storage Management, Scripting, Active Directory, and SAN/NAS Storage Systems in a highly available mission critical environment.The candidate should possess the ability to work closely with Operations department and scheduled personnel. Must be willing to effectively work in a team environment.The environment supports safety critical applications and will require working irregular shifts and provide on call coverage in a 24/7 environment. Basic Qualifications:- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology related discipline and/or at least 4-5 years of related experience in Information Technology for critical Enterprise infrastructures.
- Strong leadership communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in developing and implementing large scale, complex, highly available Infrastructure architecture support critical business applications.
- 3 years of experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi) and vCenter.
- 3 years of experience with SAN and NAS Storage.
- 3 years of experience with Monitoring Tools.
- 3 Years of experience administering Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux.
- RHCE or RHCSA preferred.
- Availability for 24X7 on call support.
