We are seeking an experienced technology lead to collaborate with our centralized IT organization on all IT driven initiatives. This team member will also be responsible for a small team of IT end user specialists focused on shopfloor IT support. The successful candidate will have experience leading a small team, supporting end users, and collaborating with IT technical experts. Initially, primary focus will include supporting all IT led initiative for the build out of the new factory and ensuring end user support team is prepared to support an increasing number of IT requirements and employees. This individual will be the key point of contact for all IT driven initiatives passed down to the site.You will make an impact by: Lead all Siemens IT mandated projects – Develop the site plan. Communicate with all stake holders. Disseminate relevant information to entire site and provide support for end users when needed. Lead/Direct deskside support employee(s) focused on shop floor support. Develop simple to follow processes for using self-guided tools. Document and/or train on repetitive tasks enabling employees to become more self-sufficient. Represent the site for all IT led initiativesYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, etc. 5+ years’ experience supporting information technology. 2+ years’ experience leading a deskside support team is preferred but will also consider an individual contributor that wants to get into leadership. Microsoft Certifications preferred: Modern Desktop Administrator and/or Windows Server Administrator Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NAT, etc. Experience managing at least 1 Microsoft print server. Experience supporting PC’s running a Microsoft operating system. Experience working with Active Directory. Experience deploying PC’s to end users. Good project planning skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point). This position includes one-on-one interaction with managers, peers, and shopfloor workers. Work well with a team – Candidate will be part of a high performing team with clear expectation and performance goals. The team is expected to support each other to ensure everyone succeeds.
