Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Java Developer in Fort Worth, TX. The role primarily involves developing and maintaining custom software for airline operations, leveraging the latest technologies. The selected candidate will be a part of an agile, test-driven development team and will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions accordingly.Responsibilities: Leverage cutting-edge technology to develop and support custom software for airline operations Participate in all phases of the development process, from inception to steady state Use object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, construct, and test reusable objects Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers Work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs Develop solutions using Java, JSB, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, Web Services (REST/SOAP, JSON/WSDL/XML), Azure, Kafka, SQL, and Angular JS Adhere to Agile Development principles, quickly adapt to changes, and manage multiple tasks Utilize tools such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, Mockito, MongoDB for development and testing Stay open to learning new technologies and implementing them in solutions.Requirements Proficient in Java programming language Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Agile Development methodologies Knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, and other related databases Proficiency in XML Technologies and JSON Understanding of REST API and SOAP APIs Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services Ability to design and develop websites Familiarity with GIT for version control Understanding of Maven build tools Experience with JUnit for testing Proficiency in Laptop Hardware Ability to develop solutions for internal customers Experience with business requirement documents and specification writing Interest in learning and implementing cutting-edge technologies Participation in a bonus program is a plus.
